Descriptions
KC-767J is an air refueling tanker which was developed for JASDF based on Boeing 767-200 aircraft. It equips flying boom air-to-air refueling system at the rear end of the body, and it's remotely operated at the operator seat in the back of the cockpit. Four aircrafts were adopted from 2008 to 2010, and they were put into the 404th squadron of the 1st airlift group at Komaki Airbase(Aichi prefecture). It has an ability to refuel 30 ton after flying 2,000 km, or can fly more than 9,000 km carrying 200 passengers and 30 ton of the cargo.
